Ingredients: – 4 beef tenderloin steaks, about 6-8 ounces each – 1/2 cup soy sauce – 1/4 cup pineapple juice – 1/4 cup brown sugar – 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – 1 tablespoon vegetable oil – Pineapple slices, for serving – Steamed rice or grilled vegetables, for serving

. In a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag, combine the soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Mix well to dissolve the sugar and combine the ingredients.

1. Add the beef tenderloin steaks to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the marinated steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if desired, depending on your preference and the thickness of the steaks.

While the steaks are grilling, you can also grill the pineapple slices for a few minutes on each side until caramelized and lightly charred.
