Deputies investigating the carjacking and death of a Florida woman say the suspect car killed a tow truck driver.

Authorities spotted the green Acura that trailed 31-year-old Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvivas before she was carjacked in an Orange County apartment complex over the weekend, according to Seminole County Sheriff Dennis.

Investigators are looking for the Acura's passengers who revealed facts. Lemma informed reporters that following several sales, he believes the car was unregistered since February and that its license plate would have been stolen.

For improper parking, an Orlando apartment complex towed the vehicle on March 19, before the tragic carjacking, Lemma said. Investigators found that Juan Luis Cintron Garcia, 39, the truck driver who hauled the Acura, died a month later on April 10.

Thursday's cellphone video showed the Acura behind De Aguasvivas' white Dodge Durango at a Seminole County red light. A gunman forced his way into her car's backseat, according to video. Once the light turned green, she and the Acura drove off.

Two hours after the carjacking, Lemma found a charred SUV in a construction location "you could not positively identify the vehicle". Lemma reported finding a body they suspected was De Aguasvivas', but DNA and dental records were needed to confirm.

He accused the husband of hiding information despite helping with the probe. The husband informed detectives that his wife, of Homestead, Miami-Dade County, was visiting family in Seminole County.

The deputy, Francisco Estrella, allegedly gave the man information about the Seminole County probe and the lead detective's house location. Lemma said De Aguasvivas' husband's family friend is Estrella's wife.

Estrella was charged with hindering a criminal investigation, illegal disclosure, unauthorized access to an electronic device, using a two-way communication device to commit a felony, and eavesdropping.
