Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin denies Israeli atrocities in Gaza.

As a result of Israel's military operations against Hamas, the United States has not discovered any evidence to suggest that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza.

As stated by statements made by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Tuesday. No evidence has been uncovered to show that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza.

In the course of a hearing that took place before the Senate Armed Services Committee and was based on the most recent budget request that President Joe Biden had submitted, Austin made the following statement: "We do not have any evidence of genocide being created."

Inquiring as to whether or not this demonstrates that Israel is not engaging in genocide in Gaza, Senator Tom Cotton, a Republican from Arkansas, posed the question.

There was another response from Austin, which was, "We do not have evidence of that." Senator Roger Wicker, a Republican from Mississippi, had asked the Secretary of Defense earlier in the hearing whether or not the attack that Hamas carried out on Israel on October 7 should be considered an act of genocide.

Wicker's question was directed toward the subject of the Secretary of Defense.

In his statement, Austin stated that "What we witnessed on October 7 was a horrific terrorist attack by Hamas," and he went on to suggest that it "certainly is a war crime."

Austin was also asked by Wicker whether Hamas would stop its attacks on Israel if the country were to lay down its arms today. This was another question that Wicker had presented to Austin.
